Here are some of the major swing dance events that have been held recently in Kitchener-Waterloo.
- Kitchener Blues Festival Dance Weekend ~ Aug 2008-2011 ~ Dancing at events all weekend along with the world-famous Kitchener Blues Festival
- Annual Holiday Dance ~ Dec 2008-2010 ~ An annual end-of-year celebration with dancers and teachers throughout Waterloo region and beyond
- Swing Into Summer ~ June 12, 2010 ~ Workshop classes all day with international instructor Caitlin Wellman from Toronto
- STC Swing Thing Workshop ~ Mar 7, 2009 ~ A full day of socializing, including workshop classes, dinner, dancing, and late-night partying, organized by the UW Swing and Tango Club
- Bill Borgida comes to Waterloo ~ Sep 26-28, 2008 ~ A great workshop weekend with a world-class dancer and instructor, hosted by Next Step Studios
- MezzJelly Waterloo Blues Weekend ~ Jun 20-22, 2008 ~ A weekend of great blues dancing including classes with several well-known instructors and dances all day and night
